Colley’s Dog 5.2% ABV Yeast, hops, water and malt. Lots and lots of malt. Tasting notes This dark ruby premium ale is all about the malt, and we’ve packed a lot into this brew. It’s nutty, it’s malty and full of body. An old school strong English bitter.

The Sportsman in Croxley has always been a favorite watering hole and it’s remained a Freehouse with guest ales and is a CAMRA notable..

Back in the day we use to hold the Watford Linux user group there which to be honest was more a drinking and philosophizing session for the miscellaneous techies and ancients of Unix that were part of that circle.

I always had imposter syndrome as a self-taught idiot not working in I.T. Some very clever people were in that group..

Much older and in our post everything dystopia the older Ocelot contingent assemble there as it has a rather good internet connected jukebox which we attempt to hijack for the evening. I of course dig out some old psyche favorites whilst Matt seems to find some great old reggae.

The usual putting the world to rights but I woke early needing an old-man wee after a several pints of Colley’s Dog which is a gem of a beer from Tring Brewery which I find rather moreish.

A slow morning after that with a cheese scone and coffee in the park to mop up the booze.
