Music Emporium was an American psychedelic rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1967. Fronted by experimental multi-instrumentalist Bill “Casey” Cosby, the group was created at UCLA, and developed a sound centered around Cosby’s keyboards and vocal harmonies. Music Emporium released one ultra-rare self-titled album in 1969, which is praised among psychedelic enthusiasts and has been re-released multiple times.

You may guess by now that old psyche is my happy place and fuels a lot of what I do (cooking, cleaning, commuting, dicking around with computers and being a Local Government Orifice).

Before the internet of everything this stuff was found scouting around the great psyche record seller in Greenwich Market (long gone) who would make you compilation tapes of expensive and unobtainable goodies. I wonder what happened to him, he was great.

Mid 90’s I had a couple of great nights out in the Monarch in Camden at “Super Elastic Bubble Plastic” and the “Lava Lounge”.

Always best heard very loud off battered vinyl with a discombobulating light show. Kids these days don’t know what they are missing. Oh, and make sure you dress up to. Still love my Paisley shirts…
